Academics

We do not believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach to teaching and learning.  A variety of instructional practices can be seen in our classrooms each day.

Kindergarten through Second Grade

Our K - 2nd grades provide the foundation. We provide a loving and caring environment which allows our children the opportunity to succeed and excel in ways that add to their development. Children continue the rest of their lives to build upon what they learn during their earliest years.  Our small classes allow the teacher to provide a high degree of personal attention and introduce the student to a variety of academic learning experiences.  A belief in the existence of the Creator God is fundamental and our teacher develops the intellectual, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of each student. The curriculum encourages students to think critically and creatively and our goal is to develop each student in the ability to solve problems in intelligent and constructive ways. We believe that true education also encourages the students to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Third through Eighth Grade

The 3rd – 8th grade curriculum continues to support our students as they build on the strong academic foundation established in the earlier grades.  Learning opportunities are plentiful for late childhood and early adolescent intellectual and social development.  Children struggle with the ideas and understandings of the world that surrounds them, and our courses help build organizational and independent study skills and help them to engage in critical-thinking.

Our middle school program consists of Bible, Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Technology, Art, Music and Physical Education.
